My name is Jason Davis.  I’m an HR & Project Management Consultant by day and a Boston sports fanatic by night.  I have a diverse background with experience in Project Management, Human Resources, Business Operations, and Business Development for companies ranging in size from start-ups to Global Fortune 500 companies.  I love the human behavior element in all of these disciplines – building and managing effective teams, attracting and hiring the best talent, creating long-term relationships and networks, and connecting stakeholder groups to move projects and initiatives across the finish line.

Currently, I’m working for a great company – Systems Evolution, Inc (SEI) – a boutique consultancy focused on solving business problems through strategic project and technology management. SEI was recently recognized by Consulting Magazine as the 2008 #2 Best Small Firm to Work For, garnering #1 rankings in Information Technology and on “How often does your firm meet its clients’ needs?”.

I got my start in HR at the US Air Force Academy where I studied Intrinsic and Extrinsic Rewards and their impact on Air Force retention while pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Behavioral Science and Leadership. Over the past few years I have continued this interest by consulting on HR process, technology, and talent management initiatives across all areas of Human Capital Management. I started HR Think Tank so that I could continue to get involved in things that I am passionate about in the HR, Social Media, and HR Technology space, and to engage and collaborate with leaders and trendsetters in the industry.

Out of work, I love to play sports and can be found on the golf course, playing soccer or cycling the back roads of Eastern Mass.  I’m also fervently passionate about Cancer Advocacy and participate in the Pan-Mass Challenge, which to date has raised more than $270 million that has been used to improve the lives of those suffering with cancer.  I recently launched a new site, cyclingagainstcancer.com, to help aid in my fund-raising efforts and to build a community of supporters for this worthwhile and important cause.
